Under the motto “Innovating together and shaping the future” and in the presence of Minister of Economic Affairs Jörg Steinbach, it was stated at the conference that 5G is one of the telecommunications technologies that, due to its technical potential, is significantly advancing the digitalization of the economy and society.
To this end, RISE has developed a project for the automation, standardization, traceability of the 5G components NESAS CCS-GI.
5G mobile networks, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, friendly robots, smart drones and more: in about 20 short presentations, I was able to familiarize myself with the wide range of 5G application areas. In subsequent workshops, participants actively contributed to the design of new solution scenarios. The focus was on the use of 5G in fire and disaster protection, operator models, and 5G hybrid networks. A scientific perspective on 6G and 7G was also presented.
the second day we discussed the application and future of artificial intelligence (AI ) in research and the impetus for Germany’s economy with representatives of the state of Brandenburg, the Economic Development Corporation, Net4AI, exciting institutions and an innovative location.
