On March 14 and 15, the GAIA-X European Association for Data and Cloud (AISBL), in collaboration with Gaia-X Hub Austria, hosted the first European Market-X Community Event at the Aula der Wissenschaften in Vienna. Together with many experts from a wide range of industries from across Europe and policy stakeholders gathered to discuss the opportunities and challenges of building a secure, transparent and open European data ecosystem, we could show everyone the work done on Pontus-X Gaia-X Web3 Ecosystem and with MOVEID, together with colleagues from DeltaDAO.
Together with Gaia-X, to support the digitization of industrial sectors in Europe, we have launched an implementation phase. New goals, trends and developments in cloud computing have grown strongly, as demonstrated by the Pontus-X project, but also in artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), solutions and ways can be found to create new business models and opportunities.
I personally think that the European green transition will be successful only if we share information through European standards and create an ecosystem together and create value for society in collaboration with various stakeholders.
How we handle data, but especially information in the future will determine Europe’s competitiveness. Gaia-X is providing the right answers for that!

2023 will be the year of growth for Gaia-X: The Digital Clearing House will ensure that trust and interoperability are guaranteed.
